What an incredible day at our recent club grading!
We are extremely proud to celebrate the achievements of all our judoka who stepped onto the mat to demonstrate their progress, determination, and growing technical ability. Gradings are an important milestone in every judoka’s journey, and this one was particularly special as many of our members earned their very first belt.
For those receiving their first promotion, this represents far more than a change of colour. It symbolises commitment, courage, and the willingness to step outside of their comfort zone. Learning the foundations of judo — from breakfalls and throws to holds and discipline — takes focus and resilience. To see so many beginners perform with confidence and composure was fantastic.
Earning your first belt is the beginning of an exciting journey. It shows fantastic promise and sets the foundation for continued development, both on and off the mat. We look forward to seeing these judoka continue to grow in skill, confidence, and character.
A huge congratulations to everyone who graded — your hard work is paying off. Keep training, keep learning, and keep striving to be better each session.
