Over the past six weeks, our club had the pleasure of delivering a dedicated judo programme for the children at Ralston Out of School Care (ROSC). From start to finish, the group brought brilliant energy, curiosity, and effort to every session, making the programme an absolute joy to run.
We would like to extend a warm thank you to ROSC for partnering with us and trusting us to introduce the children to judo. A special thanks goes to Grace for coordinating the programme and maintaining communication with parents throughout.

On the mats, Craig and Naomi provided fantastic assistance each week, helping guide the children through new techniques and ensuring everyone progressed confidently and safely. We are also grateful to Andy and Megan, who captured the journey through photographs and videos — a wonderful way to share the children’s achievements with their families.
During the final week, the children took part in a fun team-based competition where they showcased the impressive skills they’ve developed. Their enthusiasm shone through, and every participant earned a well-deserved judo medal, along with some additional merit awards recognising outstanding effort and improvement.
We’re incredibly proud of all the young judoka who took part. Well done to each of you — we hope to see you back on the mats again soon!
